CINI 2014: “Health and Civil Society” – building links between Canada and India through knowledge, wisdom sharing, and action for transformation.

CINI 2014 will build on CINI 2010 and the progress made since forming CINS. CINI 2010 was the first ever-organized conference for invited leaders in different fields (Academia, Research, Health, Innovation, Industry and Public Policy) from Canada and India and provided major recommendations. The South Asian Health Institute at Fraser Health is an outcome of the conference and it is anticipated that CINI 2014 will provide focused recommendations for additional implementation.
CINI 2014 has four sessions: (1) Training of Nursing and Allied Health; (2) Emerging Technology and its Relationship with Health; (3) Extensive and Sustainable Transformation of Primary Care Delivery in British Columbia; and (4) The Role and Modernization of Yoga within Health Care.
